Add 1/2 cup of lotion to a bowl. Add 1-2 drops of the food coloring (if using concentrated gel, if using regular food coloring you'll need more drops to color) and mix. Mix the lotion and food coloring until combined. Add 1 cup of cornstarch and mix. Mix until combined. Then take out the dough and place on some wax paper. CHALK ICE - THE BEST IDEAS FOR KIDS1. START BY GRATING A SIDEWALK CHALK PIECE INTO A MEASURING CUP THAT POURS. USE A SMALL GRATER IF YOU CAN SO THAT YOU CAN GRATE DIRECTLY INTO THE C...2. ADD 2 TABLESPOONS OF CORNSTARCH INTO THE MEASURING CUP.3. ADD 4 TABLESPOONS OF WATER.4. MIX WITH A WHISK.5. POUR THE MIXTURE INTO AN ICE CUBE TRAY OR SMALL PLASTIC CONTAINER.6. REPEAT FOR EACH COLOR YOU'D LIKE TO MAKE. DOUBLE OR TRIPLE THE RECIPE TO MAKE A LARGER BATCH. THIS RECIPE WILL FILL 2-3 ICE CUBES.7. ADD MINI POPSICLE STICKS INTO THE ICE CUBE TRAYS. YOU CAN LEAN THEM TO ONE SIDE TO KEEP THEM STANDING UP.8. FREEZE.9. ONCE FROZEN, LET THE ICE CUBE TRAY SIT OUT FOR A FEW MINUTES SO THAT YOU CAN EASILY PULL THE PAINTSICLES OUT. For a fun twist on traditional sidewalk chalk, try this chalk ice recipe.Kids will love creating art on the sidewalk with these sidewalk paintsicles. Ice painting is a great process art activity since kids can see the colors melting together. THE BEST PLAYDOUGH RECIPE Add the dry ingredients to your pot and mix well. Cook over low to medium heat until the dough starts to form and becomes dry. Once it starts to form a ball together and looks fully cooked, take off the heat. Let the dough cool first before touching. Once cool, BATH BOMB RECIPE FOR KIDS Firmly press the 2 sides of the mold together. Allow the bath bomb to sit for a few minutes and then give the mold a tap with a spoon and carefully remove it to reveal the bath bomb. HOW TO MAKE FAKE SNOW To make the puffy paint, add 1 cup of shaving cream and 1 cup of white glue. Mix together. If you don’t need as much, cut the recipe in half and do 1/2 cup of shaving cream and 1/2 cup of white glue. One cup will give you enough for 2-3 kids to make snowmen with. If HOW TO MAKE ICE CREAM IN A BAG Pour 1 cup of half and half into a small ziploc bag. Add 1.5 teaspoons of vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Seal the bag firmly and get any excess air out. In the larger ziploc bag, fill it about 1/2 way with ice. Add 1/4 cup of salt. Then add your small bag and fill ENGLISH MUFFIN PIZZA RECIPE 1. First, toast your English muffins in a conventional toaster. 2. Then add your pizza sauce and cheese. 3. Put in the microwave on a low setting to melt the cheese. Watch carefully and start with only 10-15 seconds at a time. If you are looking for mermaid craft ideas, then color and create with these free printable MERMAID COLORING PAGES! You can make all sorts of crafts with these coloring pages. You can simply color these or spend some time making them extra fancy with some sequins and cupcake liners. Try just one of these ideas, or do both! These also make the perfect craft activity for a Mermaid party. SUPPLIES NEEDED

* PAINT – yellow, gold, turquoise for the one mermaid, and green, red, and gold for the other. We also used this color for the skin. You can color with markers or pencil crayons too. * This multi-pack of paint would have the colors you would need for the hair and tail. We also recommend this non-toxic paint for toddlers or preschoolers.

for the sea shell tops DIRECTIONS TO MAKE THE MERMAID CRAFTS Here are the 2 different mermaid crafts with step-by-step instructions on how to make them.

SEQUIN MERMAID:

1. Paint the mermaid coloring page with a thin layer of paint and allow it to dry. You could also color it with markers, crayons or

pencil crayons.

2. Apply glue to the mermaid tail. 3. While the glue is still wet, sprinkle on sequins (use the same color as the painted tail if you can). Allow it to dry, then shake off

any excess sequins.

CUPCAKE LINER MERMAID: 1. Paint the mermaid. Leave the tail of the mermaid unpainted except for the very end of the tail. Allow it to dry. 2. Fold the cupcake liners in half. 3. Glue the folded cupcake liners onto the mermaid tail, starting at the bottom, right above the tail. Alternate two colors and overlap them slightly when gluing down.
