Lawmakers have a long list of priorities they hope to finish before then. Criminal justice reform topped the list for many Democratic Senators and Assemblymembers, including changes to CONSUMER GROUPS CLAIM ALARMING LEVELS OF LEAD AND ARSENIC ROCHESTER, NY (WXXI) – Some consumer groups are calling on the federal government to take a closer look at what they are calling alarming levels of lead and arsenic in some vinegar products.. Two organizations, Rochester-based Empire State Consumer Project, and a national advocacy group, Food & Water Watch, sent a letter to the Food and Drug Administration that said consumer advocates STARTING IN JUNE, NEW YORK WILL REQUIRE $15 HIGH-SPEED Starting In June, New York Will Require $15 High-Speed Internet for Low-Income Families. NEW YORK NOW – Large internet service providers will be required to officer plans for high-speed connections at $15 per month to low-income customers starting in the middle of June after legislation on the mandate was signed into law Friday. New York AMERICA’S TEST KITCHEN PAN BAGNAT (EP 2114) Place baguette halves cut side up on baking sheet and bake until very lightly toasted, 5 minutes. Pulse olives, parsley, capers, marjoram, and anchovies in food processor until coarsely but evenly chopped, 10 to 12 pulses. Transfer olive mixture to bowl with onion mixture. Add cup oil, mustard, and pepper and toss to combine. COOK’S COUNTRY ALMOND BONELESS CHICKEN (EP 1311) Halve chicken breasts horizontally to form 8 cutlets. Pat cutlets dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. 3. Finely chop 1/4 cup almonds. Whisk chopped almonds, 1 cup flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, baking powder, baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt, and 3/4 teaspoon pepper together in large bowl. COOK’S COUNTRY TRIPLE-CHOCOLATE STICKY BUNS (EP 1312 Place buns, cut side down, in prepared pan in 3 rows of four, lightly reshaping buns into circles as needed. Cover tightly with plastic and let rise until buns are puffy and touching one another, about 1 hour. 9. Adjust oven racks to lowest and lower-middle positions and heat oven to 375 degrees. STUDY FINDS INCREASED RISK OF SERIOUS STROKE AMONG PEOPLE Researchers Vida Abedi and Ramin Zand at Geisinger coordinated the study of 431 COVID-19 patients in 17 countries, published in the medical journal Stroke.
