Zoo hours are Tuesday-Sunday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. We are closed on Mondays (except for Memorial Day and Labor Day, which is our last day open for the season). . POLICE - CITY OF WISCONSIN RAPIDS Our department will fingerprint individuals free of charge if you live or work with in Wisconsin Rapids city limits, otherwise we charge a $25.00 fee. We will provide this service as staffing allows and no appointment is necessary. Fingerprinting hours are 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Tuesdays – Saturday. PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS Generally, permits are required for remodeling or alterations exceeding $500 per project, or if the work being done includes new structures or structural changes. The Wisconsin Rapids Municipal Court handles cases of alleged violations of municipal ordinances for which the penalty is a forfeiture. The court is located in City Hall on the first floor.MUNICIPAL CODE

PROPERTY TAX
Property taxes in Wisconsin Rapids are collected three times a year by the City of Wisconsin Rapids. As of August 8, 2017 until the end of 2017, all property taxes must be paid through Wood County because the third installment deadline has passed.
