Idag leds familjens engagemang av familjemedlemmar ur femte generationen. I det som i dagligt tal benämns Wallenbergsfären inbegrips 16 allmännyttiga stiftelser, investmentbolaget Investor och ägarbolaget FAM samt deras respektive innehav. WALLENBERGSTIFTELSERNAS ANSLAG 2020 – 2,4 MILJARDER KRONOR Under 2020 anslogs totalt 2,4 miljarder kronor. Huvuddelen av Stiftelsernas anslag kommer från Knut och Alice Wallenbergs Stiftelse som fokuserar på grundforskning inom medicin, naturvetenskap och teknik. Men Wallenbergstiftelserna ger också betydande anslag till bland annat samhällsvetenskap och humaniora.
