OUR PURPOSE
Our Purpose Statement really captures the essence of the passion within all of us at FUJIFILM VisualSonics and motivates us to be the best we can be. Bold innovation is what has brought us success up until today and and it is bold innovation that will ensure our success moving into the future. We thrive on empowering those dedicated to the ULTRASOUND IMAGE GALLERY Browse our image gallery showcasing current advances and techniques in ultrasound for research. ULTRASOUND ANALYSIS SOFTWARE FOR IMAGE DATA Our software is the first of its kind available for preclinical researchers and comes pre-packaged for applications in the following areas of research: oncology, cardiovascular, vascular, neurobiology and molecular imaging. Vevo LAB allows you to efficiently and easily analyze all of your imaging data with your personal or lab computer. VEVO MD HIGH FREQUENCY ULTRASOUND Ultra High Frequency means the highest resolution medical ultrasound available today. This groundbreaking development opens up new possibilities for medical imaging that have never been seen before with resolution as fine as less than half a grain of sand. Custom-designed and optimized to operate with the Vevo MD are the new UHF Series transducers.VEVO CQ SOFTWARE
Vevo CQ Software. Vevo CQ Software allows advanced quantification of perfusion kinetics with consistent and reliable data. Vevo CQ is a powerful addition to Nonlinear Contrast imaging functionality on the Vevo imaging platforms. This software allows you to study contrast uptake kinetics as well as late phase targeted enhancement. CAREERS | FUJIFILM VISUALSONICS Careers. ANOTHER DECADE OF PHOTOACOUSTIC IMAGING Photoacoustic imaging - a hybrid biomedical imaging modality finding its way to clinical practices. Although the 27 photoacoustic phenomenon was known more than a century back, only in the last two decades it has been widely 28 researched and used for biomedical imaging applications. In this review we focus on the development and progress 29 of the technology in the last decade (2010-2020).ANATOMICAL M-MODE
AM-Mode has been improved by the "fully digital” offering of high temporal resolution. Thus, AM analysis can be performed in any direction, as a uni-dimensional echocardiogram. With respect to traditional M-mode, AM permits a more detailed, flexible analysis ofcardiac chambers.

OUR BRAND PILLARS
Innovation: FUJIFILM VisualSonics has been built on the pillar of Innovation. We originally introduced our Ultra High Frequency technology in the area of preclinical research, specifically in small animal models of human disease (e.g. mice or rat models). This coincided with the explosion of the human genome project (circa 2000),where numerous

WHAT IS PHOTOACOUSTIC IMAGING Photoacoustics (or PA) explained. Photoacoustic imaging allows the delivery of light energy that is absorbed by tissues causing a thermoelastic expansion. This expansion then generates ultrasound waves that are detected by the transducer and produce images of optical absorption contrast within tissues. See infographic. VEVO STRAIN SOFTWARE Simply stated, strain is deformation (i.e. a change in length) that occurs when a force is applied. Strain is a complex derivative of Doppler imaging and is a more direct measurement of intrinsic myocardial contractility than global values such as ejection fraction or fractional shortening. TRANSDUCERS FOR VEVO LAZR FUJIFILM VisualSonics’ LZ Series Transducers combine proven high-frequency ultrasound imaging technology with an integrated fiber optic cable for high-energy laser light delivery. The tight integration and small footprint of these probes provide a flexible platform for photoacoustic imaging of nearly any small animal anatomical area of interest. TRANSMUCOSAL DELIVERY OF SELF-ASSEMBLING PHOTOSENSITIZER Theoretically, on account of improved local bioavailability of photosensitizers and attenuated systemic phototoxicity, intravesical instillation-based photodynamic therapy (PDT) for bladder cancer (BCa) would demonstrate significant advantages in comparison with the intravenous route. Actually, the low transmucosal efficiency, hypoxia regulation deficiency, as well as the biosafety risks of OXYGEN AND OXALIPLATIN-LOADED NANOPARTICLES COMBINED WITH Immunotherapy by stimulating the host immune system has been a promising therapeutic strategy for advanced ovarian cancer. Here we describe a treatment strategy that combines chemotherapy and photo-sonodynamic therapy (PSDT) to induce systemic antitumor immunity. We have successfully fabricated phase-changeable core-shell nanoparticles (OIX_NPs), which carry oxygen in the core and SEQUENTIAL RELEASE OF POOLED SIRNAS AND PACLITAXEL BY Paclitaxel (PTX) is a first-line chemotherapeutic agent to treat prostate cancer (PCa), but a large number of patients acquired drug resistance after short-term treatment. To develop combinational therapeutics to overcome PTX-resistant PCa, we established PTX-resistant LNCaP (LNCaP/PTX) cells and found that the LNCaP/PTX cells exhibited epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and enhanced PH-TRIGGERED POLY(ETHYLENE GLYCOL)-POLY(LACTIC ACID The most advantageous and attractive property of photoacoustic imaging is its capability to visualize and differentiate multiple species according to their unique absorbance profiles simultaneously in a single mixture. We here report the pH-sensitive near-infrared (NIR) croconaine (Croc) dyes-loaded copolymeric PEG-PLGA nanoparticles (NPs) for in vivo multiplexed PA imaging and pH-responsive MEASUREMENT OF TOTAL LIVER BLOOD FLOW IN INTACT This short report describes the measurement of total liver blood flow in commonly used laboratory rats using the relatively non-invasive approach of ultrasound imaging. A total of 29 rats (n = 26 Wistar-Han, n = 3 Sprague–Dawley) were imaged and both male and female rats were included. The mean (SD) total liver blood flow of all animals combined was 33.3 ± 7.8 mL/min, or 104.3 ± 17.1 mL CHEMOTHERAPY-INDUCED ACUTE VASCULAR INJURY INVOLVES Several categories of chemotherapy confer substantial risk for late-term vascular morbidity and mortality. In the present study, we aimed to investigate the mechanism of acute chemotherapy-induced vascular injury in normal tissues. Specifically, we looked at activation of the acid sphingomyelinase (ASMase)/ceramide pathway, which leads to generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and RESEARCH ULTRASOUND LEADER Wednesday, May 26, 2021 11:00 AM (EDT) Evaluation and Optimization of Right Ventricular and Lung Imaging using High Frequency Ultrasound presented by Allison Rodgers, Researcher at the University of Wisconsin.
