FAQ | URBAN ADVENTOURS Traffic in Boston is heavy and unpredictable, so please plan accordingly! You must arrive 30 minutes prior to tour time to check in and get fitted for your bike. Tours DEPART the shop at the designated tour time. If you do not arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your tour time, you are considered to be late. TANDEM BIKE RENTAL IN BOSTON Rentals may be picked up at any time during operating hours on the booked date. Rentals may not be returned when the shop is closed. "We loved renting bikes from urban adventures. I had four kids with me ages 6 through 12. The guys at Urban Adventures got us hooked up with bikes, helmets and locks really quickly. They were patient as we tried different bike sizes. We are all experienced bikers, which was good because we had to ride with a little Boston traffic (in a bike lane) before getting to the bike path next to the Charles. If you are not comfortable on a bike you might want to do a tour so you don't have to worry about navigating this part. We rode about 5 miles along the Charles to Harvard, really beautiful trail (the Esplinade). The urban adventure guys were very friendly and gave us directions as we headed off to our next stop.
