(*This is true of common Mallard-derived breeds, not Muscovies, a different species entirely, whose eggs take 35 days to hatch.) SIPs let the plants water themselves and save you a lot of time since you may only have to put water in the containers once every few days, rather than watering the pots 1-2 times per day in the summer.
