SWIMMING LESSONS

Participants are to arrive at the pool in swimwear. The primary goal of THPRD's Learn To Swim program is to teach all participants to swim to the best of their ability in a safe, fun and friendly environment. All classes are taught by trained water safety instructors utlitizing the same water safety guidelines taught by the American Red Cross. SEARCH CLASSES & CAMPS Notes: This is the pre-test session for the Lifeguard Training class CA15200. In order to take the lifeguarding course, the American Red Cross requires all candidates to pass a swimming skills session. This must be successfully completed before the first day of class. This 11+ acre park, redeveloped with funds from the 2008 bond measure, is located in central Beaverton. FANNO CREEK TRAIL

Within THPRD boundaries, the popular Fanno Creek Trail includes 4.5 miles of ADA-accessible trail that meanders through the Garden Home-Whitford and Raleigh Hills communities. CONESTOGA RECREATION AND AQUATIC CENTER Spring Registration begins Monday, April 12, 2021 - Registrations are now open, visit myTHPRD to enroll.. Weight/Cardio Room: Enter through the South Entrance by playground. There are no showers available at this time please come in clothes ready to work out. COMMONWEALTH LAKE PARK Nestled in the Cedar Hills neighborhood, between Walker Rd. and Hwy 26, 20-acre Commonwealth Lake Park surrounds man-made Commonwealth Lake. Johnson Creek runs along the north border of the park, while a playground and soccer field are featured on the park's west side.

NEW TRAIL FROM WESTSIDE TRAIL TO SEXTON MOUNTAIN DR / UN SENDERO NUEVO DESDE WESTSIDE TRAIL HASTA SEXTON MOUNTAIN DR From spring to fall of 2021, THPRD will be planning a new .15-mile off-street trail connecting from the Westside Trail to SW Sexton Mountain Dr near Sexton Mountain Elementary School.
