Aquatic Therapy is an important tool for use with a variety of patients to accelerate return to prior function. It can be the key to speedy recovery. The pool allows walking and running activities without full weight-bearing and incorporates those activities earlierin rehabilitation.
AQUATIC THERAPY
Physical Therapists use the water and specifically designed activities to restore a person’s functional abilities. Conditions treated can range from acute to chronic. The physical properties of water allow for decreased weight-bearing, increased support, ease of movement, and resistance for strengthening. COPENHAGEN ADDUCTOR EXERCISE The Copenhagen Adductor exercise requires significant effort and training of the adductor longus muscle. This exercise has shown considerable changes in hip adduction eccentric strength, when following a standardized protocol (Ishøi, 2016). Kicking is the most frequent injury mechanism for acute groin injuries (Harøy, 2019).UPPER BACK POPPING

ERGONOMIC RISK MITIGATION AND PREVENTION Tips. Get moving – take micro breaks from sustained postures after 20-30 minutes, perform brief stretching. Warm up and stretch prior to activities that are repetitive, static, or prolonged. Respect pain – change positions or stop painful activity, report early. Be aware of workstation environment – understand potential hazards, assess STRENGTH FOR GOLFERS Sit or stand, with tubing in both hands, elbows at your sides, bent to 90°, with your forearms forward. Pinch your shoulder blades together and rotate your forearms out. Keep elbows at your sides. Avoid if painful. Repeat 3 sets of 10, making sure your palms are facing eachother through the
DYNAMIC WARM UPS FOR GOLFERS Dynamic stretching is a much better way to warm-up and takes only 5 – 7 minutes. Hitting balls is a great dynamic warm-up as it helps with coordination and confidence, and is certainly recommended as part of a pre-round routine. It is, however, strongly recommended to perform a few minutes of dynamic warm-up BEFORE hitting the drivingrange.
