TRAINING | THE LIBERAL GUN CLUB The Liberal Gun Club was founded in large part with the goal in mind of bringing firearm training and education in a non-partisan format to the public. .450 BOXER | THE LIBERAL GUN CLUB My latest reloading adventure has been .450 Boxer/ .450 Adams (also known as .450 Corto, .450 Colt and .45 Webley. In 1868 this became the first metallic cartridge to be officially adopted by the British Military. Even at the time of it’s adoption it was acknowledged to be somewhat under-powered, but it SHOOTING AN ORIGINAL .577 SNIDER-ENFIELD RIFLE. The .577 Snider-Enfield is a single-shot, breech-loading rifle. The Mark III has a lock on the side latch which secures the breech block in place. A side-hammer strikes a diagonal sloping firing pin to ignite the primer on the metallic cartridge. The barrel is about 36″ REVIEW: BROWNING 1911-380 Review: Browning 1911-380. Over the weekend I had a chance to try one of the relatively new Browning 1911-380 models. REVIEW: AMT LIGHTNING Review: AMT Lightning — the Ruger Mk II Clone. I recently had a chance to shoot an AMT Lightning — it’s a clone of the Ruger Mark II .22lr pistol, but in stainless steel. Here it is: That’s a 10″ factory barrel, which was one of the options available when these guns were being produced back in PRODUCT REVIEW: ATHLON MIDAS TAC 4-16×44 The turret clicks are positive and repeatable, with no degradation doing wild clicks in all directions. The parallax to 10 yards is a nice feature as is the side focus and FFP setup, with the scope being sturdy and well built. It’s not a $1000 optic, but it’s also notpriced that way-
