The WGNS is a series of gatherings for clarity and direction in PET PROJECT GRANT FAQ ABOUT: The pet project grant is an emergency initiative initiated by artist Jeremy O. Harris, to provide financial assistance at this time of extreme uncertainty to those identifying as playwrights or writers for performance.. The grants are in the sum of $500 and are intended for playwrights facing dire financial emergencies due to COVID-19. There are 152 grants available at this time. The Bushwick Starr was thrilled to collaborate with West Yorkshire Playhouse in presenting the world premiere of Animal Wisdom, a new music-theater piece by Obie Award-winning composer and performer Heather Christian.. Heather talks to dead people, gets freaked out and writes music. Animal Wisdom is a lo-fi, idiosyncratic, folk-blues Requiem written from theoretical or actual (you decide DEFINITION — THE BUSHWICK STARR DEFINITION was previously workshopped with Ars Nova and Sundance Theatre Institute. It also received a reading as part of The Bushwick Starr Reading Series. Jeremy O. Harris and The Bushwick Starr are partnering to provide financial relief to playwrights during this period of isolation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The first round of the pet project grant is no longer accepting applications. For a list of other national emergency artist resources, click HERE. We are thrilled to share that 170 playwrights and writers for performance were PET PROJECT GRANT FAQ ABOUT: The pet project grant is an emergency initiative initiated by artist Jeremy O. Harris, to provide financial assistance at this time of extreme uncertainty to those identifying as playwrights or writers for performance.. The grants are in the sum of $500 and are intended for playwrights facing dire financial emergencies due to COVID-19. There are 152 grants available at this time.
