TD150_HISTORY
The TD150 was first introduced in 1965 as the TD150 AB and came standard with the TP13 tone arm. I found a magazine ad from 1968 that lists a price for the TD150 AB as $99.75 usd. (see ad image below) The buyer would then need to purchase a cartridge in order to complete thepackage.
CARTRIDGE / ARM MATCHING Resonant frequency of the cantilever is used as a guide to match suspension stiffness (compliance) of the cartridge to the tone arm's (effective) mass. Resonant Frequency (of the cantilever) The acoustic frequency at which the cantilever will become excited and vibrate out of control. :))) This frequency is measured in cycles per second.TD124 NOTES
5/20/2010 revisions made 5/7/2014. Notes on the TD124. Some general observations: The TD124's ability to reproduce music as it was designed to do is directly related to its drive-train health. These are not new-in-box units. Fifty years later, the TD124 motor unit is going to need some maintenance. OVERHANG - THE ANALOG DEPT Home. Analog Classifieds. User Manuals. Thorens Dept. TD124 NOTES
