LAGUARDIA AIRPORT HAS A COOL NEW WATER SHOW We may be staying home but airports are still rolling out fun services, amenities, and cool attractions. The latest is a state-of-the-art water feature in New York at LaGuardia Airport Terminal B. It looks like an upside-down water fountain. But this fountain has a suitcase full of tricks. QATAR AIRWAYS LAUNCHES NEW SEA-DOH SERVICE EARLY On Friday, January 29, Qatar Airways kicks off four-time per week nonstop service between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha, the capital city of Qatar. SKATEBOARDERS TAKEOVER THE OLD NEW ORLEANS AIRPORT It hasn’t been torn or repurposed for anything permanent just yet. Which made the empty main hall, gate halls, and baggage carousels perfect backdrops recently for a thrilling Red Bull Terminal Takeover by daring skateboarders. The New Orleans Advocate shared some great photos of the event as well as the video below. LAGUARDIA AIRPORT HAS A COOL NEW WATER SHOW The latest is a state-of-the-art water feature in New York at LaGuardia Airport Terminal B. It looks like an upside-down water fountain. But this fountain has a suitcase full of tricks. The 25-foot-tall installation is designed by the French company Aquatique Show and features two large concentric rings and a 4,000-gallon circulating water system. DENVER AIRPORT NOW HAS AN OUTDOOR DECK Denver International Airport (DEN) now has its first outdoor deck, thanks to the airport’s $1.5 billion Gate Expansion Program. The deck is located on Concourse B, at the far western end of the concourse. In addition to outdoor seating, the deck has fire pits, a pet relief area, and beautiful mountain views. QATAR AIRWAYS LAUNCHES NEW SEA-DOH SERVICE EARLY On Friday, January 29, Qatar Airways kicks off four-time per week nonstop service between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha, the capital city of Qatar. Daily service is set to start in July. The airline is using its Boeing 777 aircraft with 42 business class seats and 312 economy class seats for this new service.
