Planetarium Star Theatre show – 7:00pm – 8:00pm. Don’t miss out – the next total lunar eclipse in Vancouver won’t happen until 2021! Tickets for this all ages event will be available at the door. Ticket prices are the same as our standard evening admission rates. Adult: $14. Child: $8.50. McDonald Park in Abbotsford is what is known as a Dark Sky Park and the City of Vancouver has recently been improving the lighting around Beaver Lake in Stanley Park to make it an Urban Star Park. One of the reasons we are talking about light pollution this week is we are coming up to the peak of the annual Perseid meteor showers.
