CAMPGROUNDS AND RV PARKS SERVING SMITH ROCK STATE PARK While Smith Rock State Park supports only walk-in camping, you can pitch your tent or camper nearby at these other campgrounds and RV parks. You can have a fire at Skull Hollow Campground, not at Smith Rock. There is one campground, 3 RV parks, and a public works RV dump station with a 15-mile radiu HIKE AT SMITH ROCK STATE PARK Explore 650 acres and 12 official hiking trails in Smith Rock State Park. Choose from Easiest Trails to More Difficult Trails, to the Most Difficult Trails, or take one of our Suggested Hikes with all the round trip mileage figured out for you. The Smith Rock Bivy Campground Re-opens Tomorrow, May 27May 26, 2021
After over a year in hiatus due to COVID closures, Smith Rock State Park management announced today that they will be re-opening the Bivouac Camp this Thursday, May 27th. Parking will be initially reduced to limit total capacity, and the showers will be limited to registered overnight guests only and locked nightly. The cliff rim sites in the tent area are closed for nesting Bald Eagle protection.Read More →
