Shipley’s strong athletics program begins with an innovative and foundation-building Physical Education program in preschool. Students build on those foundational skills and get their first taste of interscholastic competition starting in sixth grade. In our Upper School, there are opportunities for each and every student to participate in our championship-caliber varsity and non-competitive programs, where good sportsmanship is just as important as winning. Our students don’t have to choose between academic success and sports achievement. They can be good students and good athletes.
