FBK Games. _

_Hitting the 5000m in 14:38, Sifan came back in 14:28 and added another World record to her resume. _ _In Doha 2019, Sifan Hassan took gold at the 10,000m, and 1,500m, a most unusual double for women distance runners. _ _We think that she's ready for Tokyo!_

_I have watched Eilish McColgan race at various distances. One of my favorites was the 10,000m at the Payton Jordan in Palo Alto, California. Eilish was running a 25 lapper for one of the first times, and she came flying by many over that last 1000m. _ _So happy to see Eilish make the team, and hope she can get the family record. Wrote about her mom in 1991. _ _Thanks to Stuart Weir on this one, I woke up quite early to post before my drive back to San Jose, California. _

June 6, 2021 8:08 AM | 0 Comments _As we built our mileage during the summers, most of my training partners and I would meet on Sundays for a long run in Quicksilver Park in the New Almaden region in San Jose, CA. The trails were dirt and rock, and you could get a 14 miler, 16 milers, or 22 milers out of the park. There were lots of wildlife that surrounded the Quicksilver (fools gold) mines, some dating back to the conquistadors. _

Trayvon has spoken about how he would show all how much his collaboration with Coach Reider has done for him at meets all season, attesting to his deep religious convictions as well.
