Randall Museum classes and camps offer adults and children an opportunity to explore a variety of art and science subjects including ceramics, woodworking, arts and crafts, and theater arts, along with technical, physical and biological sciences, and more. SCULPTURE | RANDALL MUSEUM In the Randall Museum lobby there soars a giant bird whose wings are in constant motion. SAN FRANCISCO COMMUNITY San Francisco Amateur Astronomers (SFAA) is an association of people who share a common interest in astronomy. SFAA sponsors regular public lecture programs and star parties. MODEL RAILROAD
After 52 years of creating, maintaining and building one of the largest model railroad layouts in California, the Golden Gate Model Railroad graciously turned over ownership of the train layout to the Randall Museum Friends. Club members will still be present to run COLLECTOR’S CORNER Collector’s Corner. Collecting things is a human passion and a personal endeavor. Art pieces, coins, baseball cards, and even bottle caps are can all be considered types of collections. The art of collecting can highlight striking diversity, similarities and patterns. The design of collections is entirely up to the individualcollector.

RANDALL MUSEUM MATHER OVERNIGHT CAMP The Randall Museum offers an overnight camp at San Francisco’s Camp Mather near Yosemite. This sleep away camp is 5 days and 4 nights at Camp Mather near Yosemite. Here campers will sleep in tents, swim in the lake or pool, play games, explore and hike. This is a very fun and physical camp. Transportation is provided in vans by the Randall TOTS AND FAMILY CLASSES Spring Session. Family classes provide fantastic learning opportunities for toddlers, older children and their parents or caregivers. The Randall Museum offers family classes either as multi-week seasonal classes or drop-ins. Our instructors specialize in engaging young learners through sensory exploration and artisticexpression.

After 52 years of creating, maintaining and building one of the largest model railroad layouts in California, the Golden Gate Model Railroad graciously turned over ownership of the train layout to the Randall Museum Friends. WHAT IS THE RANDALL MUSEUM The Randall Museum is more than just a natural history or science museum. Focusing on the cultures and environments of the San Francisco Bay Area, its integrated program of hands-on learning and recreation fosters a love of science, nature, and the arts. Classes include woodshop, art, science, and other STEM courses for children, teens, and adults. Exhibits display live animals in their habitats, oceans, earthquakes, and model trains.Learn More

If you have questions about your Randall Friends Membership, please email tloewenberg@randallmuseum.org WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS You must withdraw at least one week before the program starts; otherwise, you will forfeit the entire cost of the course. For every withdrawal or transfer from a paid activity, you will be charged either $14 or 20% of the course, whichever is greater. The remaining balance will be credited to your family account. Email sfreconline@sfgov.org with all requests to withdraw from a course.SCHOLARSHIPS
