FOSTER DAD JOHN'S CRITTER ROOM KITTEN CAM • PURRFECT PALS Foster Dad John's Critter Room. John Bartlett, a Seattle-area computer programmer, started fostering kittens for Purrfect Pals in 2008. Since then, this life-long cat lover has fostered more than sixty litters! In 2014, we expanded the prison foster program to include shy adult cats. Since 2006, over 850 Purrfect Pals cats kittens have graduated from the “Monroe Corrections Kitten and Cat Connections” Program! Finding acceptablefoster
VETERINARY CLINIC AND INFIRMARY • PURRFECT PALS Many, however, will live their entire lives at Purrfect Pals. The Purrfect Pals Sanctuary includes a full-service, onsite clinic which is staffed by a Veteriarian, Licensed Veterinary Technician and Veterinary Assistants. Our team treats the short and long-term residents at our Arlington sanctuary as well as the cats and kittensin our foster
THE PLAYGROUND • PURRFECT PALS The Purrfect Pals Playground is home to an assortment of wonderful cats who eat a prescription urinary-health diet. Many of them are super adoptable and will be short-term residents. Because of past health issues, others like Curious George and George Yoda, have trouble remembering to “think inside the box,” making them harderto adopt.
SANCTUARY OFFICES • PURRFECT PALS The offices at our Arlington shelter are home to several furry “Office Managers” who enjoy “snoopervising” our staff. If you’ve ever received a thank you card or newsletter from Purrfect Pals and found bonus cat hair in the envelope, now you know who tothank!

Typically we need temporary foster home for kittens too young to be adopted or a mom cat and her kittens. We may need homes for a singlenight, or

WE’RE CURRENTLY OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY As the coronavirus (COVID-19) impacts our community, the team at Purrfect Pals is taking extra measures to ensure the well-being of our staff, volunteers and the cats in our care. To limit foot traffic into the shelter and our offsite adoption centers, we will be closed to the public for CASUAL VISITS and available by appointment only for other services until further notice. At Purrfect Pals, our highest priority is taking in the cats and kittens who need us most… those who other shelters and rescue groups might not have the resources to help. This includes senior cats (though we prefer to call them “vintage”), cats with major medicalneeds , cats with
chronic illnesses (including FIV and Feline Leukemia) and those with behavioral challenges. Our cat adoption and rehabilitation programs help us place homeless cats, including those with special needs, in loving homes. We believe that every cat is adoptable; some just need more time than others to find the right match. Our ultimate goal is to place them with adopters or long term foster families, but these cats have a loving home in our Arlington sanctuary for as long as they need us. The Purrfect Pals Sanctuary is currently home to 140+ of these special cats. We truly believe that every cat, with or without special needs, matters and is deserving of a forever home. After all, people aren’t perfect. Why would we expect our cats to be? You can also check medicines that people need, especially nowadays, you can buy medicineat a discount.
