Parking Rates The on-site Airport parking facilities are operated and managed by the Philadelphia Parking Authority. On-site Airport parking is available in the Short-Term level (ground level of the garages), Garages, and the Economy Parking lot. For security reasons, vehicles must be parked with the license plate facing the drive aisle in all of the Airport's parking facilities.LOST AND FOUND
The Airport's Lost and Found, located in the Communication Center, is for items found in the terminals, restrooms and concessions. SECURITY CHECKPOINT HOURS Security Checkpoint Hours TSA Security checkpoints are located on the second floor of each Departures terminal building. Only ticketed passengers are permitted beyond the checkpoints. After being screened at a checkpoint, passengers can walk from one terminal to another without exiting and re-entering Security. Security Checkpoint Hours of Operation Hours are subject to change based on flight ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENTS The purpose of an Environmental Assessment (EA) or Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), is to incorporate environmental values into decision making by weighing the environmental impacts of proposed actions and considering alternatives to those actions. An EIS includes a statement of purpose and need, a description of the affected environment, a range of alternatives, and an analysis of the RENTAL CAR INFORMATION A number of car rental facilities are conveniently located at Philadelphia International Airport. Rental agencies provide frequent free shuttles between all bag claims and their rental car facility. All rental car shuttles pick-up from Zone 2 on Arrivals Road. CELL PHONE WAITING LOT Cell Phone Waiting Lot Motorists coming to pick up passengers can drive to the Cell Phone Waiting Lot located on Airport property. The lot is free, easily accessible from both I-95 and Route 291, features space for 150 vehicles and is less than a one-minute drive to the baggage claim areas.
