101 BRASS - PAISTE

Ushering in a higher standard of sound and durability, the 101 series stay true to the renown Paiste quality whilst offering an affordable option for the aspiring drummer looking for high performance and quality sound at an attainable price. Nothing is sacrificed in the pursuit of performance, the tonal properties of these cymbals are bright and pronounced, they punch well above their weight PAISTE ARTIST: JOHN BONHAM 31.05.1948-25.09.1980 John Bonham of Led Zeppelin was one of the most iconic rock drummers, who still influences young amateurs to professional top artists. PAISTE ARTIST: NICK BELLMORE Nick plays with Dee Snider, Kings and Liars and is a session drummer. In 1997, Nick started his frst band, playing every possible local opening slotjust for the experience. He maintained an active presence in the local scenealso by loaning gear to traveling bands just to help out. Soon, Nick developed a love for recording and established a PAISTE ARTIST: PHIL RUDD Paiste Artist: Phil Rudd - Paiste. Sizes: 14" Volume: Medium Weight: Medium Sound character: Warm, full, brilliant. Fairly wide range, balanced mix. Soft, responsive PAISTE ARTIST: STEWART COPELAND Sizes: 22" Volume: Medium Weight: Heavy Sound character: Dry, slightly dark, raw, melodic. Fairly narrow range, fairly clean mix. Heavy yet controllable feel. A clear, glassy ping over a dry and slightly dark, harmonic layer of wash. PAISTE ARTIST: SCOTT TRAVIS Sizes: 18", 20" Volume: Loud Weight: Medium Sound character: Bright, silky, metallic, full, slightly trashy and very powerful. Wide range, fairly clean mix. Comfortable, responsive and somewhat soft feel. Exotic type of china that also offers the sound and function of a

crash cymbal.

PAISTE ARTIST: ALEX VAN HALEN Fairly wide range, fairly complex mix. Responsive, soft feel with powerful attributes. Somewhat papery stick sound with a glassy undertone over fairly dark and cloudy wash. Very versatile ride cymbal with good crash-ability for classic rock music applications. Developed in co-operation with the legendary "Van Halen" drummer Alex Van Halen.

He studied with Leonardo, one of Europe’s most respected Drum-Set Teacher & book-author, and at age sixteen Enzo began touring with Top pop, Jazz and Funk Bands.

USAGE & CARE

Wipe your cymbals frequently with a soft, dry cloth, and after each practice session or performance. Remove dirt and spills immediately. Clean your cymbals more often with just warm water and soap. Ride cymbals are larger and usually thicker cymbals, which are mainly used for playing rhythmic figures on the surface and the bell, but they can also be crashed. Ride figures are the most prominant and colorful part of the original rhythm created together with the bass drum and the snare. Ride cymbals usually build up less so one can play rhythmic patterns that will not get lost in the
