PSPi 1000 Version 1 – Raspberry Pi Zero in a PSP. July 10, 2016. January 31, 2017. othermod. I’m very excited to show off my first project. I don’t think anyone else has converted a PSP into a RetroPie console. Many many hours have been put into the hardware, and just as many on the software. There are a few reasons I built this. RASPBERRY PI ZERO EXTERNAL USB CONNECTOR The Pi Zero has USB data pads (PP22 and PP23) and power pads (PP1 and PP6). The pinout is as follows: PP1 is the 5V power input. PP6 is the GND. PP22 is USB D+. PP23 is USB D-. Here is the colorized version. The pinouts for microUSB and miniUSB are the same, so an image of a miniUSB connector is shown below. Pin 1 is the 5V power input. RASPBERRY PI ZERO EXTERNAL SD CARD ADAPTER SD to microSD adapter. To begin, let’s look at the Pi Zero. It has many pins and pads available, and the pads we need are clustered together on the right side.The colorized image below shows the Pi Zero connection points. The MicroSD adapter shown below gets soldered to the pads on the Pi as follows: DAT1 goes to pad 17. DAT0/DOUT goes to

pad 16.

LITHIUM BATTERY CHARGER AND POWER SUPPLY BOARD Lithium Battery Charger and Power Supply Board. This post explains the basics of using a lithium battery on a Raspberry Pi project. Most lithium batteries have a 3.7 volt rating, and operate safely from about 3.0v to 4.2v. Discharging a battery lower than 3.0v will shorten the battery’s lifespan, and charging it above 4.2v will do the same. PSPI 1000 VERSION 2

Welcome to the PSPi 1000 Version 2 build page. Another dead PSP is being given a second chance using the $5 Pi Zero. The main goal with this project is to spend as little as possible on the components. When possible, I will create instead of purchase, and I’m making tutorials along the way that should be helpful for any Pi project. LITHIUM/LIPO 2A BATTERY PROTECTION BOARD The lithium/LiPo battery protection board protects your battery from overcharging, overdischarging, and short-circuit. Charging cut-off

Other Features of Version 4. The board will only have RetroPie compatibility at release, but Lakka is built on the same software and can be made compatible. MicroSD port has been relocated to the bottom of the V4 board. A connector has been added to the bottom of the board, and will help to add a headphone jack at a later time. PSPI VERSION 4 ASSEMBLY GUIDE Permalink. It makes use of the OEM speakers, but not the headphone jack at the moment. There’s a 4-pin JST connector on the board that interfaces with the audio, for you guys that want to solder it up, but my plan is to use the 4-pin connector for a headphone board a little

bit later.

TURN A MONOPRICE MAKER ULTIMATE (OR WANHAO DUPLICATOR 6 The Monoprice Maker Ultimate is a difficult 3D printer to assess. Some parts of the printer are very well-designed, and occasionally even over-engineered (sometimes to the point where they no longer work). It has a very solid frame that’s strong enough to stand on. Parts of the gantry are excellent and are even sturdier than an Ultimaker 2. ANALOG JOYSTICK ON RETROPIE Then wiggle the joystick around and make sure it is picked up. press CTRL and C on the keyboard to exit.
