USE THE HTML EDITOR

Use the Editor. To add text, write or paste text into the box available when adding or editing items, writing exhibit text, or captioning images in exhibits. If you want to format the text, use the buttons in the tool bar that appear at the top of the box to bold, italicize, underline, justify, and link words, or add bullet points.

MANAGE ITEM TYPES

Modifying Existing Item Types. Go to Item Types page in the admin panel and click on the type you want to modify. In the next screen, click the “edit” button. From here, you can edit or delete the current metadata fields for the item type or add new ones. When finished, click “Save Changes”.

EXPORT - OMEKA

Thanks to Omeka’s API capabilities, exporting from Omeka.net to a self-hosted Omeka Classic installation is a straightforward process. Use the Omeka API Import plugin to import the data from your Omeka.net site to your new Omeka installation by following the instructions for the API Import plugin.You will want to use the section titled “With

an API Key.”

LAWRENCE COUNTY REGIONAL HISTORY MUSEUM The Regional Historical Museum (located on the bottom floor of the Civic Center) depicts the history of Territorial Lawrence County.
