PROJECT IGNITION
Project Ignition addresses teen-driver safety issues and empowers youth to lead campaigns that make measurable differences in their schools, their communities, and beyond. It is founded on a service-learning strategy that embeds the topic of teen-driver safety more deeply within a school/afterschool programs and makes connectionsto academic goals.
NURTURING IDENTITY AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT (NICE) Resources for Recovery is a partnership between the Islamic Civic Society of America (ICSA), Open Path Resources (OPR) and NYLC. It is an outgrowth of another program on nurturing identity and civic engagement in East African immigrant youth launched in 2018 with 17 youth participants from the Twin Cities Somali-American community.
