MINNESOTA INCREASES STATE SPENDING WITH VETERAN-OWNED Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton. Since 2015, spending on Minnesota state contracts with veteran-owned businesses increased 275 percent – from $1.8 million to more than $6.8 million in 2017. This increase follows Governor Dayton’s push to make sure state government is accessible to and reflective of all Minnesotans.
