My mother and I came to the states to reunite with my dad who emigrated a few years before us. I completed my bachelor's degree at Florida International University and got accepted into LECOM in Bradenton for my medical degree. I returned to Miami to complete my internal medicine residence at GILBERTO ALVAREZ, M.D. I was born in the city of Tijuana, Mexico and grew up in San Diego, California. Puerto Rico opened its doors for me to complete my post-graduate training in primary care and preventive medicine. Over the last several years I have collaborated in health research studies with Hispanic/Latino populations to determine factors in the prevalence of respiratory and cardiovascular diseases at the BENJAMIN LAMBERTSON, DO I’m originally from North Carolina, but I lived in various parts of the United States growing up. I spent some time in Puerto Rico for my undergrad and completed my medical training in Florida. Most recently, my family and I have relocated back to Orlando from Minnesota, so it’s good to be back in the sunshine state.
