MOBILE RIVERINE FORCE ASSOCIATION WELCOME TO OUR MRFA WEBSITE The Mobile Riverine Force Association (MRFA) was founded in 1992 by a small group of former sailors and soldiers who served with the Mobile Riverine Force – Task Force 117 during the Vietnam War. The MRF was one of the few “joint” units during the war. U.S. Army infantry, artillery and other assorted commands worked together with small U.S. Navy riverine craft, as well as Supply and Repair ships, to thwart communist aggression in the III and IV Corps Tactical Zones from January 1967 to December 1970. EXCITING NEWS! THE MRFA HAS CONTRACTED WITH ARBALLO ENTERTAINMENT TO PRODUCE A DOCUMENTARY ON OUR UNIT. We want to tell YOUR story! To that end, Arballo Entertainment will be reaching out to YOU to obtain your story! They will accept your photos, film footage, audio tapes and utilize key material for thedocumentary.
