In January 2021 LIMF is presenting an extended workshop series for all levels, running throughout the month, led by top visual theatre professionals Blind Summit, Les Bubb, Angela de Castro, Avner Eisenberg, David Glass, Nola Rae, The PappyShow, Theatre Re and Told by an Idiot. Its shows examine fragile human conditions, in a compelling, physical style embracing mime and theatre. Previous productions have TOLD BY AN IDIOT THE STRANGE TALE OF CHARLIE CHAPLIN AND In 1910 the unknown Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel set sail for New York as part of Fred Karno's famous music hall troupe. On this journey, Charlie and Stan shared a cabin and then spent two years together touring North America, with Stan as Charlie’s understudy. Stan returned home, later finding success with his soulmate OliverHardy.

5 Short Films 2021. When it became clear that LIMF’21 couldn’t run as a live event, we invited five artists to create a series of short films for our online festival. The commissioning brief was to create a work lasting between 3-10 minutes that wasn’t driven by spoken text, but otherwise giving complete freedom over subject matter and style. WORKSHOPS - MIMELONDON The workshop comprises classes in movement and improvisation and is for theatre graduates and professional performers. Pascale Lecoq is a qualified architect, director of the Lecoq School and of the LEM (Laboratory of Movement Study). Jos Houben studied at Lecoq from 1981-83.
