We are bringing chickens to the Memphis Botanic Garden and there is a lot to think about! Even though I have raised chickens for years, it was not long into my research that I realized I needed help. This is when I turned to our Director of Horticulture, Rick Pudwell, life-time bird enthusiast, for help. Having this more open canopy also allows more air movement which helps with pest and disease issues. The overall effect of the pruning on the tree is a dwarfing similar to what you see in bonsai.BACKYARD CHICKENS

Four Seasons Garden #mbgfourseasons. Fountains are the main focus of this garden accessed directly outside of the East doors exiting the Visitors Center.
