ART AUCTION

The MacLaren’s annual Off The Hook: Silent Art Auction provides a great opportunity for artists to showcase their work, while assisting the Gallery in its fundraising activities.By getting involved in the art auction, artists help the MacLaren raise much needed funds for core programming. We accept all variations and styles of artwork for this event from practicing professional artists.

THE SOVFOTO ARCHIVE

The Sovfoto Archive at the MacLaren Art Centre comprises 23,116 vintage silver gelatin press prints originating from the New York City-based press agency Sovfoto/Eastfoto. The archive has a particular focus on World War II and its aftermath, as well as Soviet life in the pre-war and post-war periods. Far-reaching in scope, it includes
