THE BENEFIT OF BROOMSEDGE Broomsedge is a wind-break for the goats. It provides low cover and shields the wind. Since our goats live outside both day and night these things are important. We could mow all the broomsedge right now and have better grass growth through the winter. However, we choose

PRIMOSALE - EASY FRESH CHEESE TO MAKE AT HOME Dissolve 1/4 tsp rennet in 1 cup cool, filtered water. 2. Slowly heat 4 cups of milk to 95F, stirring gently. 3. When the milk reaches 80 add 2 Tbs buttermilk, continuing to stir gently. 4. When milk reaches 95F, turn flame off and add 4 Tbsp of diluted rennet by pouring in a ROTATIONALLY GRAZING PIGS Rotationally grazing the pigs makes a lot of sense. Those little rooters will get their snouts running and completely destroy perfectly good pasture in no time flat. They have to be moved frequently and the land needs a long time to rest and recover.
