What is leprosy?

WE ARE WORKING TO DEFEAT LEPROSY ACROSS THE WORLD Around 200,000 people are diagnosed with leprosy every year and 2-3 million people are living with leprosy-related disabilities. Leprosy is the leading cause of preventable-disability in the world.

Every 2 minutes, someone is diagnosed with leprosy CELEBRATE LEPROSY CHAMPIONS * Tharshika, fighting leprosy in Sri Lanka Tharshika was diagnosed with leprosy as a child. Now an adult, Tharshika supports children affected by leprosy through her work with our partner in Sri Lanka, KKM.
