FRONT AND REAR "SHOCK" REPLACEMENT The Ellery advice for the front removal is, to drop the ride height whilst the wheels are on the ground to low and switch off the engine. Then jack up and remove the 2 nuts holding the AHC linkage to the top of the shock then remove the top 22mm "shock" COOLING THE 1KZ-TE MOTOR: Evenin' All. As many of you will know, I use my 1998 KZJ95 UK-spec Colorado for towing a double horse trailer. When I bought it, I expected the 3.0 litre 1KZ-TE turbo diesel to be well up to the job of pulling around two tons with four or five occupants plus equipment. The reality has been HELP! ARE THEY THAT BAD?? Add a bullbar, drawers and a auxiliary battery and you're pretty close to exceeding the legal GVM, and having to shell out for a GVM upgrade. And it’s just as bad with the Hilux. The battery has a capacity of 86Ah and yet is compact enough for two to fit in the battery box on a 90/110/Defender. The battery has a 2 Year Warranty". HELP!! DASH LIGHTS ALL ON ?? Hi, On the way to work today all the dash board warning lights came on, including the hand brake, water in filter sensor, alternator, AT temp and the oil temp, however the engine management light, air bag and door open lights are all off. All other electrical items are working as the should ACSD STARTED LEAKING. The plate on the pump has a rubber seal and so does the shaft. If diesel is coming out one or both seals have failed. When you put the water pipes back on to the acsd they may well leak due to disturbed corrosion on the acsd aluminium pipes. Cleaning these pipes and theinsides of

Decided to do a drain then refill then a second drain to try and get as much of the old fluid out. I was only getting about 4.5 litres out despite leaving it drain for a couple of hours. I realise there would still be some in the box and torque converter but now ACSD STARTED LEAKING. The plate on the pump has a rubber seal and so does the shaft. LARGEST SIZE TIRE ON STOCK SUSPENSION & 16" RIMS The stock wheel size on your lj is supposed to be 265/70/15. Yes your current setup is 33 inches. Since you already have a lift of 2 inches why don't you keep the 33 . What is your main reason to change. CONVERTING A 100 SERIES TO 105. 438. 63. Feb 4, 2021. #14. I think this answers the question.. it would be impossible to convert a 100 series to a 105 series and it not be obvious when inspected.. you could put a live axle on it for sure but it will never be the same as a 105 . The chassis plate would still state it's a 100 series . INDICATORS AND HAZARDS NOT WORKING Hi guys, need the brain trust here . So the indicators and hazards stopped working suddenly on my 1999 Troopy HZJ78R . Globes are fine, bought new flasher relay , that didn't help. Google says it could be a ECU-IG2 fuse but i dont have a user manual to locate this with. Canany one point me in
WHAT ARE THE KEY DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE 80 AND 105 The main difference is the body and maybe the chassis in order to accommodate the different body. It doesn’t stop there, there are upgrades of things which may look the same as the 80, the steering box for example, has some beefier components inside (eg. the sector shaft) but by and large the rest is similar. Best to check that part numbers FUEL FILTER WARNING LIGHT Hi there. I have a Toyota Landcruiser Gxr V8 2014 and my problem is that even replacing the fuel filter, the light indicator on dashboard appears, I have reset it several times, it disappears and after a short time it appears again. I also took off the cover of the AC inside the cabin. It was not easy. Because it is a large file, I have broken it into chapters which will download individually (but I have also given a link to the full document if you're prepared to wait). Note that these are .pdf files so they won't just appear on your screen but will HOW TO REPLACE AERIAL Take off the black cover. it just pulls off. Lift up the remains of what you have left and undoing the small lock nut from the wire. Now set the new lock nut to the same amount of thread as the old one and twist the top of the aerial to do up. May 13, 2018. #1. we have a problem with our 80 series, GVM max is 2980kg, we weighed it today and its 3200kg, when we hitch up the caravan its 3400kg, 3650kg with 2 of us in there and the dog so we are looking at a duel-cab converted 105 series, with a 1hd-fte and 5 speed auto, twin locked with harrope-lockers

I realise there would still be some in the box and torque converter but now KZJ78/QUESTION REGARDING AFTERMARKET PARTS The KZ in KZj78 is the engine, which is the 1KZ-TE. The J stands for LandCruiser. And the 78 is the wheel base. 70 and 71 is the short wheel base 2 door 70's, 73 and 74 are medium wheel base and the 78 and 79 are the 5 door long wheel base models.
