Resurrection Eggs. Easter Egg Chalk (I got several sets of these for Bohden last year and we are still using them at least weekly- haha!) Monopoly Deal (our current fave!) Harry Potter Uno. Bananagrams Party Edition. Punderdome (got this one for Burke- if you have ‘punny’ kids, it’s so fun!) Kid Made Modern Crayon Library. Teen/Tween HARRY POTTER PARTY- HONEYDUKES (AND A HEAP OF FREE PRINTABLES) Just so many treats and so much packaging to assemble. Though- y’all directly benefit from all this effort because there are a heap of free printables to follow. Our Honeydukes set up included-. – printable Chocolate Frog boxes (we made chocolate frogs with this mold and these dark cocoa candy melts and put them inside) HOW TO MAKE COCOA POWDER (FROM CACAO BEANS) Peggy, you are too funny! Your prayers mean the world to us- don’t apologize at all! And I can totally see missing this way of life- it’s SO different than Denver, and has been so great for us (mostly- HOW TO MAKE THE EASIEST EVER MAXI DRESS To make the easiest-ever maxi dress-. Measure from shoulder to hem (this will be Measurement 1). Measure hip circumference. Divide hip measurement by 4. Add an inch or so to this number. This will be Measurement 2. Step 1: Start out with a piece of clothing that fits you really well!! It should be an article of clothing that is a similar fabric to what you will be working with in your finished garment. I chose a jacket that had a pieced bodice. Step 2: Turn your article of clothing MAKE YOUR OWN DROP WAIST BLOUSON BEACH DRESS First dye your tshirts (unless you’re wanting to make a white dress). Wash and dry. Next, cut your shirts into three pieces-. A- One piece that includes the bottom 7/8s (or so) of the shirt. Cut the sleeves off and then cut straight across under the collar. B & C- Two pieces that include the bottom 2/3s (or so) of the shirts. HOW TO MAKE A BEACH BAG Leave a gap of 6″ in one of the main sides of the lining (for turning right side in later). Fold your piece of fabric in half, right sides facing in. Sew up the non-folded edge. Turn the tube right side in, press (with the fold in the middle of the tube). THE BEST BLUEBERRY MOJITO RECIPE (AND HOW TO MAKE A WHOLE 3/4 cup club soda. DIRECTIONS- Add lime juice, mint leaves, blueberries and sugar to the bottom of a cup. Muddle, mashing the berries and the mint leaves. Add rum and club soda. Mix well and serve. Here’s the thing, though- blueberry mojitos are best shared. Combine cornstarch, shampoo, and food coloring. Add water 1/2 a tablespoon at a time until the mixture is thick enough to stick to the paint brush without much dripping, but thin enough to paint a line.
