NOMOTO. There are bicycles chained to posts, walls with graffiti, the sound of chatter from a cafe. What you won’t recognize is designer Joey Ruiter’s motorcycle concept. Ruiter’s project isn’t about a motorcycle at all, but rather the environment in which it sits. It isabout
TINNIE 10 – J.RUITER The Tinnie 10 brings small boating back to a side-by-side, face-to-face experience. After many sketches and countless paper models, the triangular shape was born. Cut, formed and welded from 1/8th aluminum sheets, the final form creates itself from the contours presented through geometry. The 10ft geometric build is finished offwith clear

This was a true exercise in minimalism.The unconventional shape almost void of form relies on the surroundings for definition. The polished aluminum shell creates a mirror-like reflection of the environment, making the bike almost invisible. It gives the illusion of the driver floating down the road. To add to its minimalism it’s alsoREBOOT BUGGY
That’s not the point. It was originally designed without a driver in mind and it is an exploration that challenges current car design principles. It was built with common parts. NOMOTO. There are bicycles chained to posts, walls with graffiti, the sound of chatter from a cafe. What you won’t recognize is designer Joey Ruiter’s motorcycle concept. Ruiter’s project isn’t about a motorcycle at all, but rather the environment in which it sits. It isabout
TINNIE 10 – J.RUITER The Tinnie 10 brings small boating back to a side-by-side, face-to-face experience. After many sketches and countless paper models, the triangular shape was born. Cut, formed and welded from 1/8th aluminum sheets, the final form creates itself from the contours presented through geometry. The 10ft geometric build is finished offwith clear

That’s not the point. It was originally designed without a driver in mind and it is an exploration that challenges current car design principles. It was built with common parts. The engine placement and wheelbase are for the sake of the car, not the driver. The steel-tube chassis and 40-inch wheels are powered by a 470 hp V8 engine.THE NORM STOOL

This was a true exercise in minimalism.The unconventional shape almost void of form relies on the surroundings for definition. The polished aluminum shell creates a mirror-like reflection of the environment, making the bike almost invisible. It gives the illusion of the driver floating down the road.
