Thankfully I have another brand new (and hopefully not DOA) drive to copy files toonly that the second USB 3.0 of two on this laptop has stopped working and now I have to use the last USB porta USB 2.0 port. MY TAKE ON Z-906 VS Z-5500 The Z-906s lacks the same punch that the Z-5500 provides, which is to be expected when comparing a 10" to an 8". I haven't checked the specs to see if the frequency response is the same but it's a smaller sub so it's not going to produce the same amount of bass.
