BAYVIEW HUNTERS POINT Bayview Hunters Point (BVHP) is a low-income community of color located on San Francisco Bay in southeast San Francisco. The residents and environment of BVHP are disproportionately impacted by many stationary and mobile pollution sources, including radioactive and toxic contamination at the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard Superfund site and dozens of other contaminated sites along the PIPA AVA MACAV CULTURAL CENTER 22 years ago, Greenaction played a leading role with our allies in the Colorado River Native Nations Alliance (Fort Mojave, Chemehuevi, Quechan, Cocopah and Colorado River Indian Tribes) and a huge and diverse coalition of community, health, environmental, labor, environmental and social justice groups in blocking plans by thegovernment and US
