Do you know what it means to miss New Orleans? Because New Orleans knows what it means to be missing you. During the COVID-19 crisis, our team at GoNOLA has temporarily merged resources with our sister site, NewOrleans.com , to continue to bring both locals and visitors the most up-to-date information about the current situation that we possibly can. So for now, your local’s guide to the best things to see, do, eat, and experience around New Orleans looks a little different. But rest assured that we remain committed to bringing you the parts of New Orleans that bring us as locals the most joy–our food, music, and incomparable spirit. Whether that means finding ways that we can still share meals together while miles apart through recipes

,

queuing up live streams of our favorite musicians

,

or simply beating your stay-at-home-blues with New Orleans-style

boredom busters

,

we’ve got your back. And as the city continues its phased re-opening plan

, we’ll

also make sure you have the best information about what’s open, what’s new and, most importantly, what to expect as we navigate this new territory together. If you’re out of town and missing us so, we encourage you to stay connected through our Instagram and hope that the visual exploration cures your temporary wanderlust while we’re apart. And when you’re ready to travel again, know that we’ll be here to welcome you with open arms (or, perhaps, a socially distant–but equally enthusiastic–wave).

Much Love,
