La Fondation PHI pour l’art contemporain est fière de présenter l’exposition _Lee Bae: UNION_. Né en Corée du Sud, l’artiste Lee Bae quitta son pays natal pour s’installer à Paris en 1989. Il estima que le fait de s’immerger dans un environnement nouveau lui permettrait de se voir de manière plus objective. L’éloignement du cadre familier de son pays d’origine lui a offert l’occasion de s’engager avec la mémoire, qui deviendra sa matière principale. Cette union plus profonde... À PROPOS DE LA FONDATION Créée en 2007 par Phoebe Greenberg, la Fondation PHI pour l’art contemporain est un organisme sans but lucratif voué à la présentation d’expériences d’art contemporain percutantes. D’envergure internationale tout en étant à l’écoute du contexte montréalais, sa programmation est toujours gratuite, comme le veut l’engagement de PHI à l’égard de l’accessibilité et de l’inclusion. La Fondation croit profondément au rôle de l’art comme vecteur d’échanges et tient à offrir une programmation qui conjugue réflexion et plaisir. Elle se veut ainsi un lieu de rencontre où la place de l’art dans le quotidien se célèbre dans

la convivialité.
