AMSTERDAM INTERNATIONAL WATER WEEK 2021 Urban water solutions. The Amsterdam International Water Week (AIWW) is a global movement towards a sustainable water environment. This biennial event gathers experts from cities, industries, and utilities from all over the world to combine real-life water cases with innovative solutions. SEWER SURVEILLANCE PART OF DUTCH NATIONAL COVID-19 Sewage water screening will be part of the Dutch national Covid-19 dashboard, a monitoring tool on the Coronavirus that is currently in preparation by the Dutch Government. By applying artificial intelligence, the correlation between sewer surveillance and all other Covid-related data, is expected to enrich the national dashboard and improve the early warning of new outbreaks. ROOM FOR THE RIVER PROGRAMME Measures at more than 30 locations. The Room for the River programme encompassed four rivers: the Rhine, the Meuse, the Waal, and the IJssel. At more than 30 locations, measures were taken to give the river space to flood safely. SEWER SURVEILLANCE PART OF DUTCH NATIONAL COVID-19 Sewage water screening will be part of the Dutch national Covid-19 dashboard, a monitoring tool on the Coronavirus that is currently in preparation by the Dutch Government. By applying artificial intelligence, the correlation between sewer surveillance and all other Covid-related data, is expected to enrich the national dashboard and improve the early warning of new outbreaks. The international team worked on the idea to develop a nation-wide early warning system for the Netherlands, by surveillance of sewer collection networks to track the spread of the virus. WATER OPERATORS' PARTNERSHIP HELPS JORDANIAN UTILITY TO Water Operators' Partnership helps Jordanian utility to build resilience. Jordanian Yarmouk Water Company and World Waternet kicked off an extensive Water Operators' Partnership to improve drinking water and wastewater services in the Northern part of Jordan. Starting in November 2020, this Water Operators’ Partnership will run for
