On the DC side, it can activate with voltages as low as 3.3-volts, making it suitable for control by both 3.3-volt and 5-volt logic devices. Operation is simple – apply the control voltage and the relay is activated. ARDUINO | DRONEBOT WORKSHOP Arduino is an open-source microcontroller project that is literally changing the world. Originally developed in Italy and named after the bar that was frequented by its developers, the Arduino and Arduino clones are now manufactured by companies around the world

RASPBERRY PI PICO

Power Pins. The Pico is a 3.3-volt logic device, however, it can be powered with a range of power supplies thanks to a built-in voltage converter and regulator. All of the power-related pins are groped in one section on the board, close to the microUSB connector. VBUS – This is the power from the microUSB bus, 5-volts. USING BIG STEPPER MOTORS WITH ARDUINO Most large stepper motors are bipolar, meaning that they have 4-wires, two per coil assembly. Bipolar stepper motors can be driven using dedicated modules or with H-Bridges. In the previous article, we used both an A4988 stepper module and an L298N H-Bridge to drive bipolar stepper motors with an Arduino to drive a common NEMA 17 size motor. I2C COMMUNICATIONS PART 1 In this first of several articles about I2C, I will explain what I2C is. I’ll also show you how to use the Arduino Wire library to exchange data between two Arduinos.

EEPROM WITH ARDUINO

Running the External EEPROM Sketch. Load the sketch to your Arduino and start turning the potentiometer. You should observe the servo turning accordingly, as well as the data being displayed on the serial monitor. After about a minute the recording will end. EXPERIMENTS WITH THE RCWL-0516 The RCWL-0156 is an inexpensive microwave proximity sensor that uses Doppler Radar to detect moving objects. It can be used on its own or with an Arduino. In this article, I will show you how to use this device both ways. Includes Arduino sketches for remote sensor and

latching sensors.

CONVERT ATX POWER SUPPLY TO BENCH SUPPLY You’ll notice that many connections (i.e. ground) have been repeated, this is done to increase the current carrying capability. The actual connections from the power supply are as follows: Ground – (BLACK) – The Ground or reference. +5 V – (RED) – Positive 5 volts. +12 V – (YELLOW) – Positive 12 volts. +3.3 V – (ORANGE

LASER VS ULTRASONIC

The sketch doesn’t require any additional libraries, the only library it uses is the Arduino Wire Library which simplifies using I2C. The real action in this sketch occurs in the SensorRead function. If you step through this function you’ll see how the I2C bus is used to contact the sensor, request a reading and add the result to a data

buffer.

USING SERVO MOTORS WITH THE ESP32 The code makes use of an Adafruit library for the PCA9685, the Adafruit PWM Servo Drive r library. You can obtain this directly within your Library Manager, just as you did with the ESP32Servo library.. We also use the Wire library, which is the built-in library for working with I2C.. As with our previous sketches we need to calculate some values to represent the minimum and maximum pulse width ESP32-CAM - GETTING STARTED & SOLVING COMMON PROBLEMSSEE MORE ON DRONEBOTWORKSHOP.COM MULTIPLE I2C BUSES WITH AN ARDUINO AND TCA9548A MODULESEE MORE ON DRONEBOTWORKSHOP.COM WORKSHOP | DRONEBOT WORKSHOP Welcome to the Workshop! Learn to select and use tools and test CONTROLLING AC DEVICES WITH ARDUINO The first integer we define is outputPins, which defines the number of pins we are controlling. If you want to use more (or less) than four outputs you can adjust the value of this variable accordingly. The “code reducing” technique starts with the second definition.

RASPBERRY PI PICO

Near the end of January 2021, the Raspberry Pi Foundation dropped a bombshell with the introduction of the Pico, their entry into the world of microcontrollers.. Lots of capability and a breakthrough price tag has everyone watching the Pico, and today I’m going to put this little wonder through its paces.

SD CARD EXPERIMENTS WITH ARDUINO SD and microSD cards are a simple way to add huge amounts of non-volatile storage to your Arduino designs. In this article, I will show you how to use SD card modules with the Arduino.

EEPROM WITH ARDUINO

Introduction. Computers and microcontrollers need memory to store data, either permanently or temporarily, and while this memory can come in a variety of forms it can be divided into two basic types – volatile and nonvolatile. I2C COMMUNICATIONS PART 1 In this first of several articles about I2C, I will explain what I2C is. I’ll also show you how to use the Arduino Wire library to exchange data between two Arduinos.

LASER VS ULTRASONIC

The sketch doesn’t require any additional libraries, the only library it uses is the Arduino Wire Library which simplifies using I2C. The real action in this sketch occurs in the SensorRead function. If you step through this function you’ll see how the I2C bus is used to contact the sensor, request a reading and add the result to a data

buffer.

CONVERT ATX POWER SUPPLY TO BENCH SUPPLY An ideal workbench power supply should have both 5-volt and 12-volt outputs, with 3.3-volts being a nice option as well. It should be capable of providing several amperes of current for each voltage. HELP NEEDED FOR “USING IR REMOTE CONTROLS WITH ARDUINO codecage and WolfgangW. Was just about to state the same thing. I'm using library Remote.h version 2.1 from 1999! I was about to view in PlatformIO to see if the various versions are available, Bill's video states that old library versions are available and can be 'locked'

into sketches.

By DroneBot Workshop

Controlling DC Motors is an essential skill for constructing robots and other hobby projects. An easy way to control DC motors is to use an L298N H-Bridge, an inexpensive component that you can buy from several sources. Fear not if you’ve never heard of the L298N or if you don’t know what an H-Bridge is - in this article I’ll show you everything you need to know to start making things move with an Arduino. We’ll even construct a simple Robot Car that you can pilot using a Joystick. So let’s get our motors running and learn all about

the L298N H-Bridge!
