Immediately after entering the 330-square meter suite on the 52rd floor, we were in total awe. The living area of the suite was at least four times the size of a typical hotel room and even came SETTING TRAVEL AND FINANCIAL GOALS We recently shared our blog goals for 2011 but long before we started Don’t Ever Look Back, we set travel goals for ourselves based on our dreams and aspirations. Once those travel goals were in place, we were then able to do our calculations and set some lofty yet achievable financial goals to make sure we could make our travel dreams a

CRUISING AROUND HAWAII ON MOPEDS Cruising Around Hawaii on Mopeds. One of the first things we wanted to do after arriving in Hawaii was to explore the south shore of Oahu. The two of us wanted to escape the tourist-filled Waikiki without having to pay excessively for a rental car or be restricted by taking GETTING SOAKED AT NIAGARA FALLS If you want to get as close as possible to Niagara Falls and get doused by water, this is the tour for you! Probably best to do it on a warm day, though! Price: Adults – $11.00, Children (6-12) – $8.00, Children 5 and Under – Free. Soaked Rating: 8/10. You’re going to get seriously wet at the Cave of the Winds, even if you don’t stand THE IMPORTANCE OF AN EMERGENCY FUND FOR TRAVELERS Although we won’t be dedicating an entire month to Frugal February like we did in 2011, we’ll still be doing a 1-2 weekly posts devoted to personal finance that are relevant to you as a savvy traveler.. 5 WAYS WE SAVED OVER $30,000 IN 12 MONTHS FOR OUR ROUND Here is a comprehensive guide detailing the five primary ways we saved that much money in just twelve months time. 1. Use A High-Interest Savings Account. Living in Australia where the economy is strong compared to the rest of the world, we were fortunate enough to receive 6.51% interest on our savings accounts with UBank. FIJI OR HAWAII? HELP US DECIDE! Fiji or Hawaii? Which one do we choose? Both destinations will have near perfect weather in late July, both have beautiful beaches and both are home to some of the friendliest people in the world. Although the flight costs are slightly higher to travel via Fiji, the lower cost of living offsets this to the point where staying in either destination for 1 week will cost roughly the same amount. GETTING CORRUPTED AT THE JERRY SPRINGER SHOW Getting Corrupted At The Jerry Springer Show. “JER-RY! JER-RY! JER-RY!”. If you’ve watched any kind of tabloid television, you’ll know this chant – it’s from The Jerry Springer Show which is currently in its 21st season on the air.
