RESURRECTION CEMETERY Resurrection Cemetery encompasses 100 acres in Piscataway, NJ . Graves at Resurrection Cemetery are identified with either flat memorials or upright monuments. Wide vistas of green fields are dotted with strong trees and a statue of the risen Christ welcomes visitors with out

stretched arms.

As you may be aware, just a couple of weeks ago, my brother New Jersey bishops and I released a statement reinstating the general obligation to attend Mass, beginning on the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, the weekend of June 5 and June 6. Lighting Hearts on Fire A DIOCESAN CONSECRATION FOR A NEW EVANGELIZATION On December 12, 2019, the Diocese of Metuchen was consecrated to Jesus under the patronage of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The intention for this consecration was to ask for the graces needed for a New Evangelization. By this consecration, Bishop James F. Checchio's prayer is that it will stir up an increased holiness of life, a renewed commitment to living the Gospel message to the full, and the enthusiastic willingness to share that message with others among the
