Since 2002, Desert Botanical Garden’s Butterfly Pavilion has provided interactive opportunities for visitors to view all stages of a butterfly’s life and learn the story of the relationship between plants and insects in the Sonoran Desert. ACTIVITY | SHADES OF GREEN | DESERT BOTANICAL GARDEN Discover a Color field of green in the desert. While some might think the desert is just brown and dusty, with a closer look, you can find many shades of green. BOARD PRESIDENT CHANGES When and how did you first get involved with the Garden? My first visit to the Garden was in 1997 as a guest at Dinner on the Desert. I was so struck with the beauty of the Garden as I strolled from the entry way to my table on Ullman Terrace.I loved every part of the Garden and knew it was a place I wanted to make a bigger part of mylife.
