SONY BRAVIA KDL-40S2010 OVERSCANNING ISSUE ON HDMI Sony Bravia KDL-40S2010 overscanning issue on HDMI. When I plug in any hdmi device into my Sony Bravia KDL-40S2010 the image becomes zoomed in. I've done some reasearch and this seems to be overscanning which I can fix on my wii u in its settings but I cant fix this on my Google chromecast as it doesn't have any picture settings. I'm not 100% sure about this, but I believe Windows 10 doesn't have support for LDAC, but you can try and reach out to Microsoft (or possibly the PC/laptop manufacturer in case it's a Bluetooth adapter/hardware thing). SOLVED: HOW DO I TURN OFF THE PICTURE WHILST LISTENING TO Have just acquired a KDL40EX403 TV and am trying to find my way around it. The manual says you can turn off the picture whilst listening to audio such as digital radio.. However, I cannot find how to do it. However on sony website and many retailer websites when you compare the models it also says the a84j and a83j have "rich color enhancer" while the a80j does not. 1. plug out everything from TV, coaxial cable of provider or antena RF cable and from the power for bit longer than half hour. Say 35 minutes. After this time, please plug in first antena or cable from provider to TV and than to power socket. See how it is and make auto search if needed. 2. IP CONTROL OF SONY BRAVIA Now go into iRule builder. 1. Browse for Devices under Community tab. 2. Search for Type=TV+Vendor=Sony+Codes Type=IP (see attached screenshot) and import the device. 3. November 2018. If you have an older Sony TV (From before 2013) then you may detect that small USB flash devices work fine, but not using large external USB devices. Most USB devices you get now is formated as NTFS, and this disk format will not work on older Sony TV like KDL-40EX500. You need to format to FAT32 diskformat

" I've a Sony Xperia XA 2 Ultra, and the normal camara does disfunction every time, it says restart phone and when I do that it'll only show my face cam, even if I switch cams it goes to the other face cam, and if I restart it a couple times more after that it'll show my normal cam for a couple minutes

BACK CAMERA NOT WORKING XA2 ULTRA I've the same issue, I've send this to sony with hopes they will respond with a solution. " I've a Sony Xperia XA 2 Ultra, and the normal camara does disfunction every time, it says restart phone and when I do that it'll only show my face cam, even if I switch cams it goes to the other face cam, and if I restart it a couple times more after that it'll show my normal cam for a couple minutes SOLVED: KDL-47W805A TV MESSAGE OF SYSTEM MEMORY LIMIT. You could look and see whether you need a firmware update and reset yo factory settings as it could be a firmware or setting irregularity. Re the latter, having pressed 'Home' on the remote, check to see if playback of BD discs is set to Auto so as to include 4k.I always leave dolby vision on myself. It myself. Any foreign bodies in the socket may cause the phone to think there are earphones/mic plugged in. This may then switch off the internal earspeaker and microphone as the phone is thinking there are external

Android TV DLNA streaming

Hi All,

Ive just bought myself a new BRAVIA KD55X8509C Android television. With my previous LG TV I could stream videos easily from a NAS drive connected to the network, (it appears as another input next to th

HDMI's).

Does anyone know the easiest way to do this on the Android TV? I didnt want to have to go though the fuss of installing XBMC etc. Thanks for your help!

You have just to run the app related to the multimedia file you want to show (i.e. Video for movie or Album for photo) and there in the device option you'll see your DLNA compatible servers. View solution in original post 1 person found this solution to be helpful.

I have 2 sony TV's a 55" 2013 model and a 65" 'wedge' 2014 model both read my 5TB hard drive when connected via USB with no problem. They also read my 12TB NAS drive when connected via Wireless and play the files with no problem. I want to buy the a 65XD9305BU TV went to Curry's store plugged in my 5TB hard drive and it was struggling to read the drive got to 'A' and that was it. The LG next to it read it quickly with no issues, Is this going to be the same situation when accessing my films via wireless connection to my 12TB NAS drive connected to my router ? I am really disappointed that the new TVs don't seem to support this ? Can anyone advise before I buy and make a expensive mistake

Did you open your hdd via the video stock app? If yes the struggling is due to the app trying to catalogue every content of the hdd on the first access. You have several different player Android and he stock app don't work in the same way over dlna. You won't have any problem

Thanks for the reply, The HDD did not appear on the the connected devices list which is how I connect to it on my old tvs, it was I beleive accessed via the app you mention in the shop. So are we saying I cannot access the HDD contect on this TV as it does not appear on connected devices ? but will be able to connect and play content on my 12 TB NAS drive via wireless ? It seem odd that Sony have made HDD contect not accessable via USB / connected devices ?
