SOCIAL COMMUNICATION GROUP Two of our speech-language pathologists, Kathy Yoshida and Karen Salamon have developed this group program after observing these difficulties throughout their many years of working in the field of acquired brain injury. This group is designed for people with an acquired brain injury who: Are age 18 and older. COMMUNICATION FOR ALL AGES F rom newborn babies to grandparents in their golden years, communication happens across all ages and is the glue that connects us. Dinner conversations, family fun time, helping with homework, and the sharing of family stories across generations all require good speech and communication skills.

ADULT INTENSIVE STUTTERING CLINIC We are now accepting registration for our fall 2021 adult intensive stuttering clinic (November 12-21 & December 3-5). This clinic is usually in the summer but was postponed due to COVID-19. Click here for more info or email us to enquire. IMPROV FOR PEOPLE WHO STUTTER After a successful pilot program, we are once again partnering with Tightrope Theatre this fall to provide improv for people who stutter. Details to be announced. ITAWC PROGRAM (INTENSIVE APHASIA TREATMENT) We are currently accepting registrations for our next iTAWC program (Intensive Treatment for Aphasia in Western Canada), which is scheduled to take place October 12 – November 5, 2021 in person at our Vancouver office.
