THE LEGACY | CALIFORNIA STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL The Festival was moved from Channel Islands Harbor to Strawberry Meadows at College Park in 1991 to give our ever-increasing number of Guests more room to enjoy all the events, attractions, rides, music, arts & crafts, food and beverages of all sizes, shapes, and flavors.. In 2001 we evolved into a 501(c)(3) public benefit, nonprofit organization with an all-volunteer board of directors.

Pacific Camps: Pacific Camp Family Resources, Inc., Camarillo, has been one of the Festival’s nonprofit food vendors since 2011. The $70,000 net they’ve raised in the past seven years serving up chili dogs, strawberry pizza, fried dough, corn dogs, and strawberry lemonade has helped their efforts to provide child care scholarships to qualifying families attending their programs at STRAWBERRYLAND FOR KIDS Jest in Time Family Fun Stage. Kids can enjoy non-stop live performances throughout the day under the tented big top with puppet & magic shows. It’s also the location for the popular Strawberry Baby Fashion Show, happening daily. ARTS & CRAFTS

Close to 200 artists and crafters from across the nation showcase their original works with a festive array of paintings, sculptures, ceramics, children’s toys, accessories, photography, textiles, outdoor furniture, jewelry, specialty foods, and more. We do accept applications after the CONTESTS | CALIFORNIA STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL 2019 Contest – Out of 1,076 entries received from kids in kindergarten through sixth grade throughout Ventura County, the creative strawberry design by 10-year-old Alan Sanchez from McKinna Elementary School in Oxnard was selected as the grand prize winner of the 36th Annual California Strawberry Festival’s Youth Art Design

Contest.

THE LEGACY | CALIFORNIA STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL The Festival was moved from Channel Islands Harbor to Strawberry Meadows at College Park in 1991 to give our ever-increasing number of Guests more room to enjoy all the events, attractions, rides, music, arts & crafts, food and beverages of all sizes, shapes, and flavors.. In 2001 we evolved into a 501(c)(3) public benefit, nonprofit organization with an all-volunteer board of directors. FESTIVAL POLICY

Festival Policy. No pets (except certified service dogs), no bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, hoverboards, tables, boom boxes, chairs or ice chests/coolers are permitted. In compliance with the Ventura County Health Department, no non-Festival food & drinks are permitted within the Festival grounds. The event is handicapped accessible. CALIFORNIA STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL ARTWORK CONTEST OFFICIAL California Strawberry Festival Artwork Contest Official Rules. Entries may be in digital, oils, watercolors, inks, photography or mixed media. All artwork must be original with a focus on strawberries. The finished product must be void of any writing or the Festival logo. No more than two entry submissions will be accepted for consideration

GIVING BACK

Pacific Camps: Pacific Camp Family Resources, Inc., Camarillo, has been one of the Festival’s nonprofit food vendors since 2011. The $70,000 net they’ve raised in the past seven years serving up chili dogs, strawberry pizza, fried dough, corn dogs, and strawberry lemonade has helped their efforts to provide child care scholarships to qualifying families attending their programs at FAN FAVORITE BATTLE OF THE BANDS 2019 2019 Fan Favorite Battle of the Bands. 2021 Festival Cancelled The California Strawberry Festival, which had been set for May 15 and 16 at Strawberry Meadows of College Park in Oxnard, is officially cancelled and will not be rescheduled for 2021 because of the continuing public health crisis due to COVID-19. “We know that this will come as an enormous disappointment, not only to the thousands of guests we welcome every year, but also to the sponsors, exhibitors, performers, vendors, and volunteers who help make the Festival what it is,” says Dean Kato, Chairman of the California Strawberry Festival. The California Strawberry Festival’s primary concern is the health and safety of everyone involved in the event. The uncertainty regarding what the pandemic and state health guidelines will look like in May, as well as the status of widespread vaccine distribution, are also factors in the Festival board’s decision. The Festival would like to recognize and thank the many sponsors who have continued to support the Festival despite its cancellation, including American Sleep Therapy, American Vision Windows, California Deluxe Windows, Center for Sustainable Energy, Cozzia, Cutco Cutlery, Farm Fresh To You, Navy Federal Credit Union, Sleep Number, and

Smuckers.
