Make a difference one step at a time! BCSC, annual Mother's Day Walk Our annual Mother's Day Walk in May, is a cherished part of the Breast Cancer Society of Canada's history. The first Mother's Day Walk was held on Sunday, May 12th 1991. NEW BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FUNDING ANNOUNCEMENT The Breast Cancer Society of Canada, (BCSC) is proud to announce our funding of a critical new research project, in collaboration with the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, (OICR).
