So, if your property’s worth $500,000, and you have $300,000 left on your mortgage, then your equity is $200,000. Strategy: Get the vendor to agree to an option agreement, where you have the right, but not the obligation to buy the property. Find a way to increase the property value and onsell it for a profit. The number of new home sales declined by 54.4% in April.
