At Yeti, we build digital products, which usually come in the form of web applications or native applications. The practice of product design looks at two main things: the needs of the user (usually the customer) and the goals of a business (usually the client). CLEAN ARCHITECTURE WITH PYTHON In 2012 Robert C Martin released his article "Clean Architecture" which later became a controversial book of the same name- engineers still diverge between loving and hating his concepts. And at first glance, that appears to be true. Multiple high-profile headsets debuted this year, ranging from the Oculus Rift to Samsung’s Gear VR to HTC’s Vive. But the VR community has a little secret: The technology’s blank pages are missing the entertaining, educational content that it will need to thrive. RAPID PROTOTYPING FOR THE INTERNET OF THINGS Summary: Development for the Internet of Things is more complex than mobile app development. Here’s a summary of how it’s done. Valuable as rapid prototyping is when creating iOS apps, it's even more valuable when building an IoT device. SLACK HACKS AND BEST PRACTICES Slack has quickly become one of the most widely used communication tools available but, when left unmanaged, Slack notifications, DM's and active channels can become overwhelming distractions, easily leading to loss of focus throughout the day. Every new app gives us the opportunity to improve our tech stack and one if its important pieces- folder structure.
